What makes me happy?

Surely, not this...
Since moving to our new house, I have gone through at least 10 pairs of socks -- that's 10 pairs of socks in 4 months! I have never had this problem before -- is it that my socks are just at an age where they are wearing out? Is it my tennis shoes that I wear on a daily basis that are at least 2 years old? Is it the tile floor we have -- where we had linoleum before? I don't know, but it really doesn't make me happy.

THIS makes me HAPPY! The toddler daughter with her daddy, reading books! You see, the daddy and daughter only get to see each other for maybe, on average, a hour a day. Daddy leaves for work before anyone is awake (even the cat) and sometimes gets home by 6:30PM, but more often than not, gets home after 7PM and the toddler should go to bed by 7:30PM.

So, this in turn makes the toddler daughter prefer her mommy and when the daddy is home, I like to get a little break from the constant toddler requests and desparate needs for attention.

THIS makes me happy -- to see my daughter playing with her daddy and enjoying her time with him.

What makes you happy?

I was going to suggest slippers too!

I love seeing my boys both playing with their daddy. I just sit and watch them laughing and having fun. Melts my heart every time.

While in Arizona we had lots of tile floors and both Dad and I have at least one pair of perfectly good socks that now have holes in the heels....I vote for the tile as the culprit.
