The First Snow

Chicago-land saw it's first snowfall earlier this week. It was nothing of any significance, unless you're a preschooler who's curious about life. As we saw the snow falling outside, the preschooler said to me, "let me get my new boots and let's go outside!"

We found a little snow on the back porch,

"Yummo!" she stated.

Look at all this snow, mommy!

Then, we found some snow on the fallen leaves....it was fun to scrap the snow off of the leaves and eat it.

My big purchase from a local resale: these Strawberry Shortcake boots for $.25 -- I think we already got our money's worth!
