The tree fell over onto the coffee table sometime two nights ago. We didn't hear it fall, but the hubby found it tipped over when he got up in the morning. This was the temporary fix: a ladder propped up against the tree. I then asked my husband, "What should we do?". A hook and eye drilled into the wall in a non-conspciuous place, and some clear fishing wire...does the trick every time.
if you didn't hear it fall, did it make any sound?

Oh dear...never a dull moment at your house! =) I hope Pooh kitty was out of the way (or maybe he caused it?...one can never be certain).
