The preschooler is now OBSESSED with riding her bike, I mean tricycle. "Why does my bike have 3 wheels on it, mommy?" So, she now knows the meaning of 'tri' and 'bi' after our little walk.
Down the country road -- I think she could ride for miles -- I'm just having a hard time keeping up with her:
We found a friend -- "Shadow", the neighborhood dog.
He followed (or should I say, lead) us home.
Shadown stayed for a little while -- until I shooed him out of the garage as he started to lift his leg on daddy's workbench. I know what dogs are about.....it's all about marking territory!

I'm sure it was nice for you to get out though. We went for a walk last week and played at the park for a while. There are just not enough hours in the day.
You better get some more beer so the garage can be...re-claimed so to speak.:)
Shadow must have felt like he "bonded" with you two!
I wonder if Hailey will use the pedals on her trike this year...
