"Firsts"

We celebrated a couple of 'firsts' yesterday:

Our first 'garden':

planting the seeds in an egg carton, getting an early start on the germination.

covering the seeds up with dirt...

Watermelon and pumpkins....let's see if we get some yummy treats from the garden this year!

Then, we went to our first movie experience last night:

I know, we lead a sheltered life -- we've never take the now-4-year-old to a movie in a movie theater before!

We went to see Disney's Earth -- a really good choice for the 4-year-old crowd...

the baby wasn't too thrilled...

the big sister LOVED sitting in the comfy seats -- and I didn't realize that the seats in movie theaters 'rock' nowadays! I think it's been ~4 years since I went to a movie too!!
