Derby Queen!

At Big Sister's school they had the opportunity roller skate all week this past week. I volunteered the first day and the kids looked pretty much like this:

on the floor most of the day....

But, by Wednesday (another day I volunteered), Big Sister was telling me, "no, mom, I don't need you to hold on to me. I can skate by myself!" And, she was correct -- she was a 'pro' by the end of the week!

All the kids LOVED this week in P.E. class and Big Sister has already began to ask "when can I go skating again?" I think we'll be making a trip to the local roller rink....
