We came right home and had decorate it!
First, we painted it -- the fumes got to me after a while, I had to step away and open the windows.
Then, what else would you do after you paint it? Put 'little' things on it, of course! I like to collect art supply stuff, so we had lots of googly eyes, foam shapes, puffy hearts and lots more fun decorations!
SEE? The finished project is just beautiful, isn't it? Not sure if we'll carve any pumpkins this year -- seems like a lot of work. This painted masterpiece is just fine for me!

Isn't it "officially" fall on Sept. 21st or something like that? Also....how did you get a white pumpkin?
they sell those white ones at WalMart -- only $2.50! The one we got at the pumpkin farm is orange and cost $.50/pound -- about $6 What a rip off!!!
I decorated the orange one....maybe I'll snap a picture of it and post...
Googly eyes are the best! How many eyes does this pumpkin have?
I love the creativity. We're hoping to go out to get a pumpkin this weekend, but I don't think it will look at good as Payton's.
what kind of paint works best when painting a pumpkin?
KWM -- I think there are at least 20 eyes on that pumpkin - you can never have too many googly eyes!
Tyler -- we just used tempura paint...got it at Micheal's, but I'm no expert on pumpkin painting, so I don't know if that's the 'best' paint
Painting pumpkins is a good idea! I wonder if I can get William & Victoria to BOTH cooperate to get it done, lol! :)
