We enrolled Payton in swim 'lessons' -- okay, they're actually called Parent/Tot swim class. We were nervous that Payton wouldn't like to be in the water and that she would just scream for the whole 1/2 hour, but we were surprised that she was actually okay with the water.
It did take her a while to get comfortable to get in the water -- we got there early, so she could see the kids in the class before her -- our friend, Carly, was in the first class, so it was good to see her having so much fun in the water before we had to get in too!
The last 10 minutes is 'free time' -- Aaron and Payton found a toy to go swim after. Payton didn't go under the water this class, but the goal after 4 weeks will be that she'll blow bubbles and go under without gulping in a lot of water!!
