9 months

So, 9 months ago a little boy was born into our family. It's been a crazy 9 months and I'm still trying to catch up and find some sort of balance between sharing attention with a 4.5 year old and a 9 month old -- some days are easier than others. Let me just tell you, that I am SO THANKFUL for a part-time job! There are days that I just pray that I can get through the next hour and then I smile because I get to go to work tomorrow. I love my kids, but I also love my job!

Anyway, at our 9 month appointment today, we found out that the little brother has dropped to the 5th percentile in weight. He was born at the 25th percentile, dropped to the 10th percentile at 6 months and now dropped to the 5th percentile at 9 months. The pediatrician doesn't seem to be concerned, but the big sister was always in the 95th percentile, so I don't know how to deal with a 'little' boy. He's so active, so I'm sure that's part of the reason that he's in the 5th percentile. He LOVES table food -- could pass on the baby food, but I try to get in a couple of tablespoons each day. His favorite food: yogurt! (and hotdogs....).
