Weekend Warriors

We are finally ready to start making some changes to our 'new' house! The weather is starting to warm up enough that we can open the windows and paint.....

We decided to start with the playroom:

BEFORE:



DURING: the toddler wanted to help -- luckily, my husband had to run back out to the store -- he would not have had enough patience to let her paint! There was paint dripping everywhere!!

AFTER: a nice, fun yellow and that black box? That's magnetic paint! We are still in the process of putting chalkboard paint over the magentic paint -- how fun with that be? Then, my husband is going to make a wood frame to go around the black box and a little tray at the bottom to hold the chalk. I think the toddler is a bit spoiled, wouldn't you say?

So, it's still a work in progress....but, we're making progress and that's all that counts!
