Wildlife...

Since moving to our house, we've seen lots of wildlife -- like deer, birds and MORE deer! This time, they were moving around our front yard:

See-- this picture was taken last week -- do you see the bit of snow on the ground? Yes -- SNOW after the start of spring! It's been an interesting season already!


Then, a stray dog came around our yard too:

Now, I'm not a dog person, but this dog was hanging around and came up to me while I was out getting the mail. I really didn't want it around me, then I heard it's tags rattling together. I bent down and read his tag with his owner's phone number. I felt bad for the dog -- was he lost? was he hungry? was he just checking out my yard like all the other creatures? I decided to call it's owner and left her a message telling her that her dog was hanging around my yard. He wasn't bothering me, but I really didn't want to 'inherit' a dog. I never did hear back from her, but then again, the dog hasn't shown back up either.
