We did it: Monday, May 26th, 2008. We turned on our air conditioner! I didn't want to do it, but my husband persuaded me.....since it's 81 degrees in our house! It was such a humid day today -- we're just waiting for the rain to come and cut this humidity.
We had a wonderful weekend -- just the 3 of us, no parties, no commitments -- just 'us'. We got a lot done around the house and it feels good to spend the weekend as a family.

We did also! Then tomorrow it goes back into 50's.
We came very close to turning it on! But we didn't - and today it's back down into the 50's, so it's just as well, I guess. It feels nice after all of the heat yesterday. :)
I turned on the ceiling fan so I could sleep, but it got into the low 40's that night so I could have opened a window!
Hmmm...my husband persuaded me also.
