Happy Mother's Day!

What a wonderful weekend -- a mother (or at least me) couldn't ask for more! Here's a glimps of my weekend:

Saturday: the hubby the the toddler took me out for breakfast at a local hole-in-the-wall restaurant -- I LOVE breakfast -- it's my favorite meal to eat out at a restaurant and a little local place is even better! Then we went shopping for some plants -- I've been wanting to plant some perrenials and various other plants around the yard, so I did my mother's day shopping a day early and was able to choose whatever I wanted! I even got a little gardening cart.

During naptime on Saturday, I planted and enjoyed the nice weather. Saturday night we went out to dinner with a dinner group that we go out with once a month and the kids stayed at our house with a sitter.

Sunday (today) was rather rainy and windy. We went to church, then to Portillo's -- when all the other mother's were out for brunch, we were at Portillo's -- who could ask for a better Mother's Day lunch????

Tonight, we're havig 'family movie night' and watching Cars -- a very fun movie!

I couldn't have asked for a better weekend -- some 'family' time, some 'me' time and some 'couple' time.
