You know you live in a small town when the 75 year old lady next door calls and leaves you a message that since it was a holiday on Monday, the garbage that I left at the end of our driveway today won't be taken until tomorrow. I called to thank her! It's interesting how all of our neighbor's eyes are on us and critiquing our every move. So far (besides the recent garbage incident), we've 'done good'.
I of course, brought the garbage back into the garage -- we'll take it out again tomorrow.

And... Thanks for the reminder that our garbage doesn't have to go out tonight, it can wait until tomorrow. ;)
