Ice Cream Treat

The local library has a summer reading program, so we decided to join to see what it would be like. We already go to the library every Monday -- check out 2 movies and get at least 20 books to read during the week. We are kind of nerdy like that -- we like to read lots of books (and I don't like to read the same books over and over and over again -- which all toddlers love to do!)

After listening to 2 books on tape and reading another 8 books (with mom's help, of course), the toddler got a coupon for a free ice cream cone at the local 'mom & pop' ice cream store!

The toddler came home and asked daddy if we could go that night to get her free cone -- he said, "yes".
She choose the twirl with blue dip! It was a very fun reward for ALL of us (someone we each got a special treat that night.....mommy for reading all those books and daddy for driving us to the ice cream restaurant!)
