It's been TOO long...

It's been way too long since the 3 Reilly's went on a vacation! You see, my husband lost his job in January of 2007 and was unemployeed for 5 months. So, we did go to Door County with my in-laws for a week. Then he got a job in May of 2007, so we couldn't go on a vacation then! We usually try to get away every 6 months for a little break away from life -- it's been TOO LONG!

We have started planning and finalizing our first plane-ride-away vacation: WALT DISNEY WORLD!! We leave July 12th for a plane ride and a week's stay at my parent's condo right outside of Disney......

We made this vacation 'chain' to count down the days...each night we cut off another chain (although, I need to re-check, I think we forgot a couple of nights!)

The toddler is getting excited...."I cut off all the chains and then I get to ride in an airplane!" We just told her tonight that we're going to Walt Disney World and asked her if she knew what that meant, "yeah, it's where Mickey & Minnie & Donald & Goofy live!"
