We climbed, explored and even found a little bubbling spring.
However, the toddler really just wanted to go to a 'real park', not a 'nature park', as she informed me. So, on the way, we stopped by a local neighborhood park and enjoyed another hour in the fresh air.
Until, the toddler went down a slide and found out that it was a little wet from the rain the day before. Now, I don't know about you, but my toddler DOES NOT LIKE it when her clothes are wet or dirty!!
She proceeded to take off her wet pants and run around in her underwear -- her Diego underwear at that!
There was no one else at the park, so I figured it was really not that big of deal...who cares about a 3 year old in their underwear at the park, anyway. Kids can get away with a lot of things, can't they?
