An Unwelcomed Guest

Meet our unwelcomed guest that visits us on a nightly basis:

I couldn't get a good shot of him -- only through the window, so you can see the toddler daughter in the reflection...

We think it's a 'she' -- she was about 400 pounds earlier this spring, but then we've seen about 4-5 babies running up the trees!

Another scary event: our cat escaped AGAIN!!! This time, he pushed out the screen in the window. He likes to sit in the windows and enjoy the fresh air, but our window screens aren't secure in some areas. So, on Wednesday I noticed the window screen was pushed out a little and I didn't think too much about it -- I thought it was the toddler daughter playing around.

But, then on Friday morning my husband saw our cat run across the back porch! Luckily he was able to get him before he headed to work -- I would have never been able to get him to come to me. So now, my husband is taping the screens in place and we'll await the next trick the cat comes up with to escape!!
